TIAGO Pinto’s arrival at Cherries has been confirmed, after his departure from Roma earlier this year.
The Portuguese arrives in a newly-created role, in a summer of change in the Cherries boardroom.
After eight years, Richard Hughes will leave his position as technical director, after being approached by Liverpool.
Simon Francis will move from his position as assistant to Hughes, to take his job.

Neill Blake is still at the club as chief executive officer, while Jim Frevola continues to operate as president of business.
Pinto, 39, who worked at Benfica before joining Roma as general manager, has been hired as president of football operations at Cherries, reportedly signing a three-year contract.
Talks progressed quickly this week, with Pinto keen to accept the proposal.
The club say he will "start in his role next week and will work with the club’s chief executive Neill Blake and technical director Simon Francis on all football matters".
Discussing his move to Cherries, Pinto said: “I’m very happy to be joining AFC Bournemouth during such an exciting time for the club.
“I would like to express my gratitude to Bill, Neill and Simon. The vision that they have laid out to me is something that I can’t wait to be a part of.
“I look forward to getting to work over the summer as we prepare for the new season.”
