CHERRIES have provided an update on the building work at their new Canford training ground, as they confirmed a planned date for the first team to move in.
The £32million project was approved in October 2019, after Cherries purchased the former golf club site for £3.75m in January 2018.
Work began before being paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, resuming in the summer of 2022, following the club’s promotion back to the Premier League.
Some academy and women’s training sessions are already taking place in the indoor dome, which is an eye-catching feature of the 57-acre site.
And the club have released an update saying work is on track for the first team to move in fully during next season, specifically January 2025.

Undersoil heating pipes are currently being installed on the three first-team pitches, which are set to be completed by July.
Drainage is complete in the main car park, while the main building will be “water-tight” by the end of this month, with a medical recovery pool also being installed.
Four miles of new gas, water and electric services have been taken from the site up to the main Canford Magna Road.
The club say “first-team occupation is still on track for January 2025”, adding how other teams within the club will follow from March.
Cherries owner Bill Foley recently visited the work site during his trip over from the United States, believing the training ground will be “one of the best” in the Premier League.
Head coach Andoni Iraola said: “You can go now and see there is a building, it looks like it is going to be probably finished at the end of the year and we can move there and we can start working for sure in even better conditions.
“Our steps that the club is making forward definitely will help whatever happens on the pitch.”
