CHERRIES have confirmed that five members of their first-team will depart at the expiry of their contracts this month, after submitting their retained and released list to the Premier League.

Lloyd Kelly had previously announced his departure this summer, but the defender will be followed out the door by Jamal Lowe, Emi Marcondes, Ryan Fredericks, and Darren Randolph.

A deadline day signing in August 2022, Lowe helped Cherries return to the Premier League under Scott Parker, scoring seven times in 34 Championship appearances.

However, once Cherries reached the top-flight the Jamaican international became a peripheral figure, playing just twice in the Premier League during the 2022/23 season before finishing the campaign out on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

Last season Lowe spent the entirety of the campaign with Swansea City, the club Cherries paid a reported £1.5million to sign the attacker from in 2022.

Marcondes was another player to help Cherries earn promotion before being frozen out of the first-team picture in the Premier League.

A free transfer from Brentford in the summer of 2022, Marcondes played 17 times in the Championship before making just one Premier League appearance, the record-equalling 9-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Although hit by numerous injuries, Marcondes spent time on loan at former club FC Nordsjaelland in 2023 before finishing last season on loan at Cherries’ sister club Hibernian.

Signed as goalkeeping cover from West Ham in January 2023, Randolph made no appearances for Cherries.

Defender Fredericks was another signing from the Hammers, joining Cherries ahead of their top-flight return in the summer of 2023 on a free.

Injury ruled the right-back out for the entirety of the 2023-24 season, with Fredericks making just 13 appearances during his two-year spell at the club.

At the youth level, development squad players Ben Greenwood, Cam Plain, Baylin Johnson, Ferdinand Okoh, and Euan Pollock have all been released.

Ollie Eagle, Harry Redknapp Jr, Jack Holman, and Noah Crisp have also been let go from the under-18 set-up.
