CHRIS Mepham is on a list of potential summer targets for Celtic, according to a report by the Scottish Daily Mail.
Centre-back Mepham is heading into the final year of his contract at Vitality Stadium.
He has found game-time hard to come by under Andoni Iraola, featuring just 13 times, mainly due to the excellent form of Illia Zabarnyi and Marcos Senesi.
Mepham missed the closing weeks of the season due to health reasons.
The Wales international joined Cherries from Brentford in January 2019 for around £12million and has since gone on to make 121 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
But he has struggled to fully nail down his position during most of that time and is expected to be open to a move away this summer, Cherries having blocked his departure in the last transfer window.
Mepham, 26, has 46 caps for Wales and the Mail report suggests Scottish giants Celtic have him “on a list of summer signing targets”.
The report goes on to state Celtic’s interest “is in the early stages” with no formal approach yet made.
The transfer window for English and Scottish clubs opens on June 14.
