ANDONI Iraola believes it will be “very difficult” for any of his Cherries players to win the European Championship this summer.
Cherries have three players heading to Germany with their countries, in Ryan Christie, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez.
All three are representing countries seen as outsiders to have much success in the tournament, with none of Scotland, Ukraine or Hungary listed in the top 10 favourites with the bookmakers.
And while he does not see any of the trio lifting the trophy, Iraola stopped short of giving his tournament prediction.

Asked if he thinks any Cherries could be in with a chance of glory, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I don’t know. I think it is going to be very difficult, because the ones that I’m sure will be there, probably there are not one of the favourites.
“I can say for me the favourites, for sure everything is thinking England or France probably.
“But this is a tournament. One bad game, you are out.
“One penalty that you miss, you are out.
“For me, I cannot say.”
The tournament gets underway on Friday night, when hosts Germany take on Scotland in Munich (8pm).
