CHERRIES star Antoine Semenyo combined rest with play as he met some young footballers during his recent trip to Gozo.
Semenyo visited the Mediterranean island following the conclusion of the Premier League season, and before two World Cup qualifiers playing for Ghana.
The trip to Gozo, part of the Maltese islands, saw Semenyo wind down from a busy season, alongside his brother Jai, who is contracted to Cardiff City.
With help from Visit Gozo, the trip was organised by Reach Communications, who said: "Antoine Semenyo described his time in Gozo as a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
“The laid back vibe and warm hospitality of the locals made his stay truly unforgettable."
During his stay, Semenyo joined the Gozo youth team for a light coaching session, alongside Gozo FA player of the year Steve Sultana.
The youngsters were then provided with AFC Bournemouth t-shirts.
