RINGWOOD Town's brave FA Cup run came to an end when they were beaten 4-0 at Marlow last night.
Having held their Southern League opponents to a draw at the weekend, Jy Taylor's battling side proved no match in the replay.
The Ringwood boss is now hoping his team can kick on in their bid for promotion back into the Wessex Premier Division at the first time of asking.
He said: "We've done exceptionally well and everyone can be proud of what we've done.
"We've just got to take this into the league because the last thing we want to say at the end of the season is we had a nice cup run but are still in Wessex Division One.
"We must win the league or at least go up."
- In what was a bad evening for the local sides, Brockenhurst crashed out of the FA Cup after an injury-time penalty handed Fleet Town a 1-0 replay victory.
Meanwhile, Verwood Town host Warminster Town in Wessex Division One tonight (7.45pm).
