YOUNG Cherries winger Michael Dacosta Gonzalez has joined Crawley Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old recently penned a new contract at Cherries until the summer of 2027, after an impressive season in the club’s development squad.
Alicante-born Dacosta Gonzalez has trained with Spain’s youth teams and been an unused substitute in five senior Cherries matches.
Crawley clinched promotion back into the third tier last season, for the first time since 2014-15, after winning the League Two play-off final against Crewe Alexandra at Wembley.
For Dacosta Gonzalez, this marks his first opportunity at professional football, having joined Cherries’ academy aged 11.
West Sussex club Crawley are managed by former Swindon Town boss Scott Lindsey.
They get their League One campaign underway against Blackpool on Saturday, August 10.
