ANDONI Iraola says it is “not easy to guess” who is going to win tonight’s Euro 2024 final.

Iraola sees the country of his birth, Spain, take on the country he currently lives and works in, England, in Berlin this evening (8pm).

England, under Gareth Southgate, are aiming to win the European Championship for the first time.

Spain are three-time winners, most recently in 2012. They also won in 2008, where Iraola would have been part of the squad, were it not for injury.

The former Athletic Bilbao right-back earned seven caps for his country between 2008 and 2011.

Asked how he sees the final going, the Cherries head coach told afcbTV: “I think it has been a Euros with not a lot of surprises.

“I think the good teams have been there.

“Now it is England and Spain, the two countries that have dominated club wise for the last 20 to 25 years.

“Now this experience with the club is getting to the national teams.

“Both of the teams have very experienced players. They’ve both been there and it’s not easy to guess who is going to win it.

“Probably England was more favourite before the tournament.

“But with the way Spain has been playing, probably now it is kind of more level.

“Let’s see what happens. I’ll be watching, definitely.”
