OWEN Bevan suffered another injury setback as he was forced off in the first half of Cherries’ 1-1 draw with Wrexham.
The young defender, who missed much of last season, started at left-back in California, but lasted just 29 minutes, before being replaced by Milos Kerkez.
Boss Andoni Iraola said: “Unluckily for us we’ve lost one player in Owen Bevan.
“I’m not sure if he has a strain in the quad.”
Asked if the injury is a recurrence of what Bevan suffered with last season, Iraola added: “I don’t know. Right now, I cannot tell you.
“He complained about the quad and until we do a proper MRI, we cannot say much more.
“But the feeling is that it was a strain and he will be out for some weeks.”
