BEN Rogers struck his third fifty of the season and shared an important mid-innings stand with Bournemouth skipper Simon Woodruff before the ECB Southern Premier League derby at Lymington was washed out.

The Lions had lost James Van Gool, Luke Webb and Aiden Meyer cheaply before Rogers (67) and Woodruff (53) hit separate half-centuries.

But with Gareth Berg taking 6-23, Bournemouth dropped from 135-3 to 192 all out.

Lymington's replay ended in the rain in the seventh over at 24-1.

With 12 games of the season gone, Bournemouth sit sixth in the 10-team table.

Without a win since June 1, Bournemouth welcome rock-bottom Havant to Chapel Gate on Saturday (11am).

In Division Three, fourth-placed Parley won by seven wickets at Hook & Newnham Basics seconds. Owen Morris took four wickets, while Spencer Savage and Thomas Saunders hit half centuries.
