CHERRIES’ women have again added to their squad, with the addition of midfielder Ellie Strippel.
The 23-year-old has previously played at the top of the women’s pyramid, in the Super League with Bristol City.
Also taking in stints at Yeovil Town, Portishead Town and Bridgwater United, Strippel has more recently been at Swindon Town.

Last season in National League Division One South West, Strippel scored an impressive goal for the Robins in a 3-2 defeat to Cherries.
“I’m delighted to sign,” said Strippel.
“Once I’d had the initial phone call with Steve, it was a no-brainer for me because I knew this was the place I wanted to play my football.
“They did really well last season and were unfortunate not to get promoted.
“It seems like a really good place to be and I want to help them push on.
“When you play against them, you can see the high standards they set. I want to be part of that.”
Boss Steve Cuss added: “Ellie is somebody we know very well.
“She’s a hugely talented player on the ball and very creative.
“We are really pleased we are able to bring her into the squad.”
