DEAN Huijsen is set to undergo a medical at Cherries ahead of a move from Juventus, the Daily Echo understands.
A fee of €15million, equivalent to £12.6m, has been agreed, potentially rising to €18m.
Personal terms have also been verbally agreed, with Huijsen soon set for medical tests with Cherries.
The 19-year-old centre-back was born in Amsterdam, before moving to Marbella in Spain with his family as a child.
He moved from Malaga’s academy to Juventus in 2021, featuring for the their Next Gen side in Serie C, the third tier of Italian football.
Huijsen made his senior Juventus debut in October 2023, coming off the bench in a 1-0 win over AC Milan.
A loan spell at Roma then followed for the second half of last season, where Huijsen featured 14 times, 13 of those coming in Serie A, where he also scored two goals.
Huijsen represented Netherlands at various youth levels, before switching allegiance to Spain to play for their under-21s earlier this year.
Interest has been rife in the teenager this summer with Liverpool, VfB Stuttgart and Paris Saint-Germain all linked.
But Cherries are hopeful they can get a deal wrapped up quickly to avoid any other club swooping in.
Tiago Pinto, Cherries’ new president of football operations, is said to have played a big role in the transfer, knowing him from the pair’s time at Roma.
