CHERRIES have released their new home kit for the upcoming Premier League season.

The kit pays tribute to the 2014/15 season, which saw the club reach the highest level of English football for the first time.

It features a gold pinstripe, as seen on that seasons’ kit, on the iconic red and black stripes.

Club stalwarts Adam Smith and Tommy Elphick helped to launch the new kit alongside members of the men’s and women’s team.

Marc Pugh, who scored a crucial goal against Bolton Wanderers to secure the side’s promotion to the Premier League, also returned for the launch.

Prices for the kits have remained the same from last season, costing £65 for adult shirts and infant kits at £55.

The shirt features the club’s new sponsor bj88 on it, with the club saying the investment from the Asian sports betting company is the largest in Cherries’ history.

But the kit will be available to be bought unsponsored, as with prior seasons.

In all the club's pre-season friendlies so far, Cherries have worn two limited-edition kits designed by minority owner and Hollywood A-lister Michael B Jordan.

Fans can buy the new kit in-store and online from Saturday, August 3.
