ANDONI Iraola is hopeful most of his injured players will be fit and firing in time for the start of the Premier League season.
Cherries had eight senior players unavailable for Sunday’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
They included Tyler Adams (back), Enes Unal (foot) and David Brooks (shoulder), who all underwent surgery over the summer.
Justin Kluivert has not played at all in pre-season, while Philip Billing, Lewis Cook, Dominic Solanke and Chris Mepham were also not involved at the weekend.
“I don’t think anyone is at risk of missing the start of the season, apart from the surgeries we have – Brooksy, Enes and Tyler,” said Iraola.
“The rest I hope are small things.
“Junior (Traore) for example, couldn’t play with a small injury in the LA games, (on Sunday) he was ready to play.
“I hope we can recover everyone.
“If it’s not for Girona (on Saturday), where I expect almost everyone, then for the beginning of the season.”
