ANDONI Iraola expects further movement both in and out of Cherries before the transfer window closes later this month.

Talisman Dominic Solanke is the name on everybody’s lips, Tottenham Hotspur heavily linked, with the striker said to have a £65million release clause.

Owner Bill Foley says he expects Solanke to stay, but insists the club have a list of options to look to bring in, should the 26-year-old depart this summer.

There has been minimal movement in terms of ins and outs, Lloyd Kelly the biggest departure, with Dean Huijsen signed in his position. Youngsters Daniel Jebbison and Alex Paulsen have also been added to the group, with a number of players returning from loan moves and Kieffer Moore sold.

Asked if he would be happy if the squad remained as it is after the August 30 transfer deadline, Iraola replied: “That’s a big if!

“I think things are going to happen. We are going to sign players and we are going to loan and sell players, for sure.

“I don’t know how much, but I think not only in Bournemouth, but in every team, movements are going to happen.

“We are in a position now where we know more or less the players, their roles, every player knows more or less his place in the team.

“We have the numbers. Now it’s a matter of seeing what the market gives you.

“Sometimes we’ve tried this window to sign players that we liked, we tried and then we arrive to a limit and now we cannot sign.

“We are, more or less by numbers, probably from last season we lose Lloyd Kelly. We have signed Dean, from the players that played a good amount of minutes.

“Now it’s a matter of seeing what the market gives you, the chances we can see to improve the team. I know the club is working on this.”

Discussing the ongoing transfer speculation, Iraola added: “Even in the past season I remember telling you I hate it when the market is open.

“This season is even worse I think. I feel this month, apart from the games, is going to be difficult on this side.

“But we have to focus on the games. I am worried about Forest, about Newcastle, about Everton, and the League Cup game before the market closes.

“It is always difficult for me.

“I remember the past year against Brentford away with Jaidon Anthony and Kieffer Moore, playing the next day and not knowing really what is going to happen.

“These are situations that affect you that you cannot control a lot. I hate them.”
