ANDONI Iraola remained tight-lipped on rumours that AFC Bournemouth were closing in on a transfer for Barcelona right-back Julián Araujo.
The Daily Telegraph reported on Thursday, August 8, that the two clubs are close to agreeing a fee for the 23-year-old, who was on loan at La Liga side Las Palmas.
However, Iraola would not speak on the speculation, saying: “He is not our player.
“I answered you about these players, you are going to ask about others.
“I think we have to be respectful with players that are not ours.
“I know that the club is working on a lot of things right now, but I cannot talk about players that are not ours.”
The Cherries boss did confirm that talks were ongoing between the club and Tottenham Hotspur for striker Dominic Solanke, with the London club looking to conclude a £60million deal.
