ANDONI Iraola feels Luis Sinisterra has a “good instinct for goals” after he notched his second in as many games at the weekend.

Having returned to pre-season training late following his summer exploits in Copa America, reaching the final with Colombia, Sinisterra has scored in both friendlies in which he has featured.

The winger produced a composed one-on-one finish in the 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, before heading home in the 3-2 victory against Girona.

Since arriving from Leeds United last summer, initially on loan, Sinisterra has scored three goals in 23 competitive appearances for Cherries.

“Sini always has a good instinct for the goals,” Iraola told the Daily Echo.

“He is a good finisher. I think he is a better header than people think, because he is not as tall and they underestimate his heading ability.

“But we could see during last season, even in set plays, he is someone that is dangerous.

“(On Saturday) he finished very well. It was a very good cross from Dango.

“It is important that all the players there behind the striker can add goals.”

Sinisterra finished as Cherries’ top scorer of pre-season, with Justin Kluivert, Antoine Semenyo, Marcos Senesi and Daniel Jebbison netting once each.
