BOURNEMOUTH Electric and Cobham Sports played out a goalless draw in the Dorset Premier League.

While Cobham had the majority of possession, neither side could find the breakthrough.

It was the home side, Electric, that had the best of the chances, but couldn’t find the back of the net.

The best of the chances came on 24 minutes, when Electric’s Dylan Ellis shooting wide after a bounce off the bumpy pitch.

Neither ‘keeper had much to do through either half as both sides saw chances thin on the ground.

Electric had the chance to take the points in the second minute of added time, but Kane Daysh’s header going past the far post and the game ended goalless.

The clubs are in 9th and 10th places in the league, both having picked up five points in their first four games of the season.

Cobham are in ninth, thanks to a 3-0 defeat to Dorchester Sports, a 4-0 win over Swanage Town and Herston FC and 1-1 draw against Portland United FC Reserves.

Electric, in tenth, took a 5-1 home victory over Sherborne Town FC Reserves, but suffered a 6-1 loss away to Holt United FC, before a 1-1 draw with Bridport FC Reserves.
