THE Premier League is quickly becoming the most powerful league – and that brings some of the world’s best players to AFC Bournemouth.
Andoni Iraola believes the league is a massive draw to potential new Cherries signings.
When asked about what statement the signings of Evanilson and Kepa Arrizabalaga, both of whom played in last season’s Champions League, sends, the Basque boss said: “I think it's a matter of the Premier League overall.
“We cannot say it's because of Bournemouth, because you see other teams that were around us and they also have these kinds of players.
“I think the Premier League is raising the level or at least becoming the most powerful league, I would say.
“It attracts the interest of a lot of very good players. For me, when they arrive, I'm not thinking if they played here or there.
“I try to choose the best ones to win the game.”
Iraola said he doesn’t care if new signings have come from a Champions League side or a lower division side, adding: “It's good for the experience of the group because we are quite young, age wise at least, and to have players who have perform like, like Neto before, like Evanilson, Kepa, if he comes, that have performed at the biggest level, I think is good for the overall experience of the group.”
