SWANAGE Town and Herston FC dominated for the full 90 minutes as they secured a comprehensive 6-0 victory against Balti Sports.

The Swans condemned their hosts to their fifth consecutive home defeat and were a threat from the first whistle.

Cody Moore was at the heart of the action, testing Balti keeper Harrison Wood early on before he and Josh Reavenall Nuete combined to open the scoring, with the latter finishing cooly from a Moore cross.

Moore added himself to the scoresheet, outpacing the defence and rounding the keeper before slotting home.

Moore was forced off due to illness after 35 minutes, but this didn’t affect Swanage, who added a fourth goal through Pryor with a towering header.

Best added his second shortly before the break as Swanage opened up a 5-0 lead over their hosts.

The visitors continued to press in the second period, with Charlie Pitt narrowly missing from a good Best cross, before Swans keeper Taylor Hibbs made an important save to preserve the clean sheet.

The rout was completed thanks to a stunning half volley from 20-yards from Pitt, as Balti conceded their 29th goal in their last five home games, scoring just one.

The game finished 6-0, with Swanage manager Craig Adams saying: “The young lads did the football club proud today walking wounded but the heart, energy, and discipline weren't lacking.

“Very proud. We move on.”

Swanage have now won four of their past five games.
