ANDONI Iraola is hoping to have Kepa Arrizabalaga back soon after he was ruled out of the Cherries’ game against Aston Villa.

The Spanish keeper, on loan from Chelsea, missed the game at Villa Park through an abductor issue, but Iraola said it didn’t make any sense to risk him with the other keepers Bournemouth have in their squad.

Mark Travers stepped up brilliantly, making some fantastic saves to keep Villa at bay, as the Cherries went on to draw 1-1 thanks to a dramatic late equaliser from Evanilson.

On the side’s injuries, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think we've had a very difficult week, very difficult week in the injury department, let's say.

“I think the only really bad one is obviously the Alex Scott one.

“Phil Billing was ill so I suppose we recover him, but Kepa and Sini [Luis Sinisterra], they are small, small injuries.

“Kepa had in his left abductor some issues.

“He couldn't hit the ball properly and it didn't make any sense to take any risk having also the two keepers we have.”
