SWANAGE continued their unbeaten run under Craig Adams sealing a valuable point away at the league leaders Dorchester Sports.
It was a hard-earned point as neither side could break the deadlock at the Avenue Stadium in the Dorset Premier League.
It was an even contest from the start, with chances at a premium.
Swans defender Cohen Lee made a crucial interception in the early exchanges, before captain Stephen Pryor saved what looked like a certain goal for Sports.
The sides cancelled each other out, but the hosts had an opportunity to take the lead as Hewitt went close but missed the target.
Cody Moore looked lively at the other end for Swanage, troubling the sports defenders, but neither side was able to find the net in the first period, heading into the break without score.
Swanage created some chances after the break, with Josh Reavenall-Nuete going on a promising run and letting fly, but he just missed the target.
Ocean Smith also went close after being set up by Codey Moore, but Dorchester went closest to finding the elusive opening goal, a speculative shot hitting the post and bouncing to safety.
The game came to a close to give both sides a hard-earned point.
Swanage manager Adams praised his side, saying: “Brilliant point away at the league leaders.
“Really pleased with the clean sheet. Full credit to the lads again; their commitment and attitude is first class.”
Meanwhile, the Swanage reserves took all three points at home against league leaders Wilton.
Spencer Grygiel opened the scoring on 25 minutes with a stunning free kick into the top corner, before he doubled the Swans lead on 37 minutes, heading home from close range.
Their visitors reduced the arrears on 84 minutes but Swanage saw out a tense finish to earn a fantastic three points.
