ANDONI Iraola said his side must accept the disappointment of defeat going into an international break after the Cherries were beaten 3-2 at Brentford.
Going into the game, the Bournemouth boss told the Daily Echo he hoped to enter this international break on a more positive note than the last one, when the Cherries were beaten 1-0 by Leicester in October.
But that was not to be as Bournemouth were beaten by the Bees in the capital.
Speaking after the match, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “You cannot choose when the breaks come.
“You never want to lose the last game before the break because at the end you remember the last feeling.
“Now, we will remember this week, the actions here against Brentford.
“We will remember all the chances, the crossbar, the others, the penalty, the mistake, the things that you have more fresh.
“But it is what it is, and we have to accept it, train well, hope that everyone that goes with the national team comes back healthy and is available and we can prepare very well the game against Brighton, that is going to be also very demanding.”
