FIVE second half goals saw Hamworthy United Reserves run out 6-0 victors over Westland Sports.

It was a bright start by the young Hamworthy side, against fifth placed Sports, who had beaten the reserves 5-1 in the reverse fixture in August.

But they let a number of early chances go begging, but they finally opened the scoring after 43 minutes, Dwayne Yeboah netting from a superb diving header to give them the lead at the break.

Westland increased their intensity in the second period but left gaps at the back which Hamworthy exploited.

Amir Ain-Zerga scored from the six-yard box to make it two in the 47th minute, before he netted again five minutes later in a carbon copy of the second to make it 3-0.

From that point on, Hamworthy dominated and made it 4-0 as Jaicob Crowther was found unmarked in the Westland box and fired past the keeper.

Yeboah got his second of the afternoon in the 62nd minute, finding the top corner, as Crowther completed his brace in the 71st minute after a long passage of Swanage passing.

The Hammers kept Westland at bay with some resolute defending, as they secured the victory to lift them off the bottom of the Dorset Premier League.
