BOURNEMOUTH will be hoping to extend their winning run to six as they host Chichester at Chapel Gate.

The Lions are third in the Regional Two South Central table and will look to keep pressure on the top two of Tottonians and Farnham.

Director of rugby, Will Croker, said their visitors are a side that have struggled a little in the league so far this season.

“[They’ve won] some games I was quite surprised they won, but then losing some games, I thought they should definitely not lose,” Croker said.

“The director of rugby is a guy called Paul Colley, good rugby guy, good rugby coach.

“They will be well drilled and we're going to have to make sure that we're on top of our physicality.

Bournemouth have been seeing real success in the wider channels, with Maverick Goodchild, Ryan Morrell, Jordy Wayman, Josh Wickens and Dave Scupham leading the try scoring statistics.

With that in mind, Croker said the side will be looking to exploit the space out wide when they can.

There are a few changes for the Lions, with Wayman unavailable along with Ben Salisbury and Joe Rees.

Bournemouth’s second team are on the road at Portsmouth, while the thirds are away at Sherborne.

Croker said Portsmouth will offer a very tough game for the second side.

“We are looking to bounce back off the back of a couple of results which we bit disappointed with,” Croker said.

“We’ve got a really strong squad and looking forward to seeing how former Bath Academy fly half James Lamont goes.

“He's a very talented young guy, which we're hoping to steer us around the pitch.

“Our thirds are away at Sherbourne and what should be an absolute humdinger as they look to continue their great season.”
