ANDONI Iraola felt his Cherries side lacked patience against Brighton after the Seagulls went down to ten men.
Carlos Baleba got sent off after 59 minutes at the Vitality Stadium while Brighton led the game by two goals to nil.
Despite a late David Brooks goal, it was too late for Iraola’s side who fell to a 2-1 defeat.
Reflecting on the game after Brighton were reduced to ten men, Iraola said: “Probably we've lacked some patience.”
“Sometimes we've gone too quick, and we were trying to rush too much.”
As the half progressed, the Cherries grew into the game and created multiple chances but were unable to salvage anything from the game.
Iraola said: “After the 80th minute, where we started using the wings and the half spaces better, we started pushing them and having more phases of attack.”
The boss felt his side were more dangerous later on in the game as they went through more phases before working the ball into the box and were more effective at picking up second balls.
But Iraola rued the lost 15 minutes before the sending off and the final ten minutes where he felt they were the better side.
