M.A. HART CUP COMPETITIONS
FC Hajduk were a minute away from their third successive MARK HART SUNDAY SENIOR CUP final when East Christchurch Athletic substitute Jamie Morgan grabbed a dramatic equaliser. The game had to be settled on penalties and, with Athletic ‘keeper Joe Coombes saving one of Hajduk’s spot kicks, it was Athletic who went through 5-4.
FC Hajduk had led three times, the first goal coming after just 30 seconds through Lewis Sainval, but Athletic came back each time to level the tie at 3-3. Athletic’s first goal was a superb strike from Lewis Keating after 12 minutes but Hajduk’s lead was restored with an excellent 25th minute header from Eddie Hodge. Athletic were on terms again ten minutes later with another excellent finish, this time from Ethan Fishlock. The last ten minutes saw Hajduk reduced to ten men when ex Athletic man Mikell Carrington received a second yellow and Hajduk take the lead for a third time courtesy of Eddie Hodge before Jamie Morgan’s last gasp equaliser snatched victory from Hajduk’s grasp.
Bournemouth Electric Reserves’ hat-trick hero when they emerged 5-3 winners from their M.A. HART JOHN CARTER CUP semi final with Southside Vipers. Dean Smith and Bradley Brown were the other Electric marksmen with Michael Haskell, John Armour, and Richard Owen replying for Southside.
Simao Teixeira wasDivision Five leaders Camerons gave Bourne a run for their money in the third round of the M.A. HART ROBBINS CUP, taking them to a penalty shoot out from which the Second Division promotion contenders emerged 4-3 winners. Ryan Mackenzie struck twice for Bourne with Alessandro Di Marco and substitute Mac Thomas adding one each while Sam Cotton, Casey Bondsfield, and Drew Campbell were the Camerons marksmen.
BDFA CAMERONS CUP
Brad Connell netted for Bournemouth Manor Reserves but they bowed out of the BDFA CAMERONS CUP in the third round when Jamie Power, Tolulope Adesoji, and Riccardo Bruno ensured a 3-1 victory for Bournemouth Athletic.
GREENDALE CONSTRUCTION DORSET SUNDAY CHALLENGE CUP
DORSET SUNDAY CHALLENGE CUP holders Kraken Sports are through to the semi finals after Max Wilcock, Shane Barney, and Amechi Eze-Sunday gave them the edge 3-2 against Weatherbury.
Division Four new boys Ferndown Town are also through after Leon Homer, Tommy Queen, Mitch Hack, and Chris Baldry clinched a 4-1 victory over Tavern who replied through Toby Williams. Michael Lindsey netted for Dexter Sports but they went down 4-1 to Admiral Hardy and Bournemouth’s other representatives, Parkstone Club, were also beaten 4-1 when Jack Foden’s goal was not enough to save them against Gloucester.
M.A. HART BOURNEMOUTH SUNDAY LEAGUE
East Christchurch SSC take over on top of DIVISION ONE after Alex Hancock, Alex Whitehouse, Levi Ridealgh, and Arron Staples gave them a 4-0 victory over Rushmere.
Ben Hands led the way with a hat-trick when hundred per cent Westover Bournemouth walloped NMO 8-1 to open up a five point lead at the top of DIVISION TWO. Alex Henley added a brace with Kieron Francis, Brady Devlin, and Anas Elferjani also on target while Brogan Sims scored NMO’s consolation goal.
Meanwhile Thomas Howting was New Milton Town’s four goal star when they opened their points account with a 5-4 win over JP Morgan. Reece Jessop was the other New Milton scorer with JJ Morgan replying through Dan Hayward, Josh Demetriou, and a couple of goals from Jhon Vera.
Sam Danvers bagged a hat-trick for Bournemouth Sports but Woodville Wanderers are three points clear at the top of DIVISION THREE after getting the better of them 5-3 thanks to Christian Bond, Joey Walls, substitute Adam Dickens, and a couple of goals from Jordan Coltman.
Bournemouth Electric, usually on the receiving end of odd goal scorelines, moved off the bottom of the table after Joe Sullivan struck twice to give them the edge 2-1 against West Howe Reserves who replied through Dan Dominy. Liam Holland netted for Rushmere Reserves but they drop to the bottom after A.P. R. sank them 5-1 through Oliver Fox, Simon Adair, Oliver Brown, and a couple of goals from Andy Vigar.
Wallisdown Wanderers’ leading markman Elliott Cresswell rattled in four when the DIVISION FOUR leaders bounced back from two successive defeats with a 5-2 victory over Poole Wanderers. Yusuf Akanni was the other Wallisdown scorer while Poole’s goals came from Jack Firth and Adam Green.
Sam Lenthall struck for second placed Church Hill United in DIVISION FIVE but they had to settle for a point when Ben Montgomery earned third placed Longfleet a 1-1 draw.
Mitch Middlewick notched a hat-trick in Knights’ 6-1 victory over New Milton Town Reserves with Jose Andreassen, Deakon Brown, and Ethan McDonnell adding one each. Joe Gibbon scored New Milton’s consolation goal.
Marcus Browning and Zac Bond nabbed two each when West Howe “A” gave United players a 7-0 drubbing with Cristian Delgado, Ciaran Grinds, and Leo Beale adding one each.
