Kings Arms are back in cup action on Thursday night when they meet Poole Bay Estates in the M A Hart Nicholas Read Cup final at Hurn Bridge (kick-off 7.30pm).
Poole Bay Estates, meanwhile, opened up a nine-point lead at the top of Division Seven when they put paid to Dean Park Inn 4-1 through Steve Gilbert (2), Paul Titman and Rich Moran.
• Alex Grimason, Daniel Manuel and Sean Gallagher all bagged hat-tricks when Branksome Railway blasted Premier Division tailenders TX United 14-4 with Adam Komorowski (2), Sam Purdy, Keith Whatling and Keiron Mulvey also on the scoresheet.
Simon Talliss (2), Chris Baldry and Steve Talliss provided some consolation for TX.
Joe Petty struck for New Milton Town but Queens Park Rovers ambushed them 5-1 with an Adam Locke hat-trick and further goals from Mark Goldsworthy and Max Crow.
• A last-minute penalty by Sam Lockyer, his second of the game, settled the issue 2-1 for Division One pacesetters Darby’s Corner in their top-of-the-table clash with Christchurch Royals who replied through David Bratt.
Ollie Peckham netted for third-placed Priory Quays but Darby’s day became even better when Quays went down 2-1 to goals from Dave Weeden and Shane Orchard against Electric.
New Star United just got the better of Foresters Arms 4-3 thanks to Crispin Rigler’s hat-trick and a goal from Dean Cook.
Shaun Brazier scored both Bournemouth Athletic goals in their 2-1 win over Parley Sports, while Paul Cavendish’s double strike enabled Kavell to subdue Vienna Windows 2-0.
• Queens Park remain three points clear in Division Two after walloping AFC Burton 8-1 with goals from Steve Haime (2), Steve Flynn (2), James Tunnicliffe (2), Shahram Sam-Daliri and Tony Sadler.
Hundred per cent Tradeprice UK were 4-1 winners against Magdon Scaffolding thanks to Gary Vincent (2), Tim Porter and Glenn Bowen, while Adam Marsh kept Shoulder of Mutton’s title hopes alive when his solitary strike clinched a 1-0 win over Copyplus.
• Kirk Tovey netted for Division Three leaders Rias but Matt Brooks struck twice to give AC FC the edge 2-1 and Bluewood took over in pole position on goal difference after Aaron Stacey scored both goals in their 2-0 success against Eurasat.
Southbourne went second after James Bolt, Chris Diffey and Ben Chant ensured a 3-1 victory over Alderney Manor.
• Brett Chandler’s strike for Queens Park Rovers reserves was cancelled out when Mark King earned New Inn a 1-1 draw but QPR’s point was enough to enable them to take over on top of Division Four.
KC Transport went third after their 6-1 triumph over Witchampton courtesy of Chris Squire’s hat-trick and further goals from Gary Williams (2) and Ashley Rogers.
Steve Gowring’s hat-trick proved decisive when Three Cross got the better of Westvale 5-3 with Adam Gowring and Ben Small adding one each.
• Ben Davies’s hat-trick was to no avail when Verwood SSC maintained their Division Five promotion challenge by winning 5-3 thanks to Shaun Steer’s hat-trick and further goals from Jamie Francis and Marc Crisp.
LV FC are also very much in contention with Steve O’Donnell (2), Kam Tinker, Sean Cooper and Paul Goodman giving them a 5-1 triumph over Strouden.
Bournemouth Sports reserves were 3-1 winners against AFC Stourvale thanks to Matt Snell (2) and Dan Rattew, while Ross Laurent and Rich Sainsbury gave Carling Sports the verdict 2-1 against Magpies.
• Sunseekers’ reign at the top of Division Six came to an end when bottom-placed Walkford, who had previously not won a league game all season, upended them 3-0 with goals from Jon Hughes, Craig Morris and Famra Sarr.
AKD Allstars took over on top on goal difference after their 6-0 triumph over Wessex courtesy of Jesse Hodgson (2), Luke Dart and a Lewis Burgess hat-trick.
Jamie Wilson netted for Talbot Pub but their title hopes were dented when West Moors SSC reserves held them to a 1-1 draw, while Ace Fabrication shaded it 4-3 against Holly Tree thanks to Dwight Holder and a Carl Douglas hat-trick.
• Poole Bay Estates’ grip at the top of Division Seven was strengthened when promotion rivals New Milton Borough and DH Britannia cancelled each other out in a 2-2 draw.
Stephen Murphy and Adam Dale were the Borough scorers with Ross Tucker and Chris Payne replying.
Townsend Spartans went third after their 8-1 hammering of Riva with goals from Parris Simpkins (2), Charlie Foreman (2), Lee Phibbs, Rory Robertson, Anthony Cappalonga and Sav Tosun, while AS Muscliffe tanned Richmond Park 4-1 with goals from Karl Brown (2), Lee Short and Mark Whitcher.
• Priory Quays reserves hold top spot in Division Eight despite being on the receiving end of a 7-4 tonking from Newtown Rovers.
Adam Janes and Mark Frigot both bagged hat-tricks for Rovers with the other goal coming from Dan Freshwater.
Nearest rivals Fiveways Rangers took an unexpected 4-2 tumble against Ferndown Forest whose goals came via Chris Berrett, Chris Winfield, Justin Bowman and Tim Cottis.
Amazingly, promotion rivals Ensbury Park Rangers also shot themselves in the foot by going down 2-0 to goals from Felipe Augusti and Jason Coombs against Horse & Jockey, while LV FC reserves had to settle for a point when Barry Element’s last-gasp spot-kick earned Pottery United a 1-1 draw.
• Richard Beale netted for Division Nine front-runners Rockbourne reserves but they were beaten 3-1 by Kings Arms whose goals came from Shaun King (2) and Wayne House.
Duncan Moody grabbed a hat-trick for Mount in their 6-2 victory over Fiveways reserves with the other goals coming from Leigh Spencer (2) and Matt Eves.
