SECOND division Queens Park were beaten for the first time this season when Dan Tong’s header from a corner gave M A Hart Robbins Cup holders Bournemouth Sports the verdict 1-0 in a superbly-contested semi-final.
Queens Park will be looking to make amends when they meet Division Two promotion rivals Tradeprice UK at Hurn Bridge on Thursday night (7.30pm kick off) in the M A Hart In Excess Cup final.
The other Robbins Cup semi-final also featured a Division Two side in Shoulder of Mutton.
Ricky Wilson’s goal, however, wasn’t quite enough to save them from a 2-1 defeat against Premier League Branksome Railway whose goals came via Dan Blackburn and Sam Purdy.
