Cherries have been drawn at home against Dagenham and Redbridge in the first round of next season’s Carling Cup.
Daggers are familiar opponents for the Dean Court outfit.
The two clubs got promoted into League One alongside each other in 2010 before battling it out in the third tier last term – with contrasting fortunes.
Cherries upset the odds by reaching the play-offs but Daggers were eventually relegated back to the basement division.
John Still’s men will visit Dorset for the tie during the week commencing August 8.
Meanwhile, the league fixtures for next season will be announced tomorrow at 9am. A full listing will be published in Saturday’s Daily Echo.
