CAPTAIN Christian Pain is bullish about Lymington’s chances in the basement battle against Totton and Eling.
Second-bottom Lymo host their fellow strugglers tomorrow and will be aiming to improve on their record of three victories in 10 games.
Pain has named a virtually full-strength team, with just Guy Layman absent from what would make up the club’s best XI.
And the skipper is confident despite admitting this weekend’s opponents have two star performers in Simon Steel, who is second in the SPL batting rankings, and Hampshire’s Benny Howell.
Pain said: “Benny Howell and Simon Steel are two very good players but I fancy our chances big time. I think we have got a decent chance.”
Lymington: Treagus, Cowley, Shirazi, Pain, Beetham, Freeman, Lammiman, Thacker, Grierson, Khan, Kelly.
• In Division Two, Bournemouth seconds will face a tough test when they entertain league leaders Ventnor.
Bournemouth II: Kennedy, Scott, Hurley, J Coombs, Smith, Russell, Cook, Garlick, R Coombs, Patel, Spicer.
• The task facing New Milton also looks a daunting one as they host second-placed Rowledge.
New Milton: L Beck, Hill, Adlem, Linge, Edgell, Loader, R Beck, Rose, Freeman, Elliott, Gargaro.
