EDDIE Mitchell has unveiled a new bargaining tool in Cherries’ bid to attract players to Seward Stadium – a luxury changing room.

The Cherries chairman revealed that the club had finished around six weeks’ work on a £20-30,000 revamp of the home dressing room.

Modelled on facilities used by Premier League Arsenal, the new surroundings also include improved physiotherapy and treatment areas.

Mitchell believes it is money well spent. He said: “It is pretty luxurious and is fitting of the boys’ achievements over the past two years.

“When you show new team members around, first impressions make a mark.

“If we are trying to compete with other clubs and players are looking around our club to possibly further their careers here, it just sends out the right vibes.

“It was a reward for how well the boys had done for us. We are trying to look the part because we do believe we can go to the next level.”

Meanwhile, Mitchell reported that Cherries had also splashed out £25,000 on a much-needed minibus for the youth department.
