VERWOOD’S impressive form has left boss Adie Arnold facing a tricky selection dilemma ahead of their Wessex League clash with Division One new boys Team Solent at Potterne Park (3pm).

A 3-1 home win over Andover New Street six days ago saw the Potters climb into third place following a fifth successive league victory.

And although influential skipper Matt Delaney and Matt Dear, who is dual registered with Wimborne, did not feature against New Street both are available for the visit of fifth-placed Team Solent.

Potters: (from) Lynch, Freeman, Murray, Evans, Kelly, Dyer, Saxby, Webb, Haskell, Gajic, Homer, Barnett, Wilson, Smalley, Morrison, Dear, Delaney, Rhodes.

• Boss Wayne Lockey can call on key men Adam Hetherington and Alex Eley for Ringwood’s encounter with Whitchurch United at the Canotec Stadium (3pm).

The pair missed Town’s 2-2 draw at Amesbury due to injury six days ago but look set for starts alongside new signing Scott Hole, who is in line to make his home debut.

Hamworthy United boss Simon Browne was last night waiting to hear whether Dorchester Town would allow goalkeeper Simon Evans to extend his loan spell at the County Ground.

Evans’s stay expired following the midweek defeat at Alton – a game the stopper missed due to illness – with Browne hoping to keep him for at least another month.

Browne is hoping to have Aaron Corby available when fifth-placed Hammers host Wessex Premier strugglers Laverstock & Ford bidding to avoid a third successive league defeat – following only one reverse in their first 12 games.
