NICK Broom swept Seyward Windows out of the MA Hart Page Croft Cup when his four-goal burst ensured a 7-2 second round triumph for New Milton Linnets. Tom Linbourne, Dan Wills and Joel Fields were the other Linnets marksmen with Seyward replying through Luke Dart and an own goal.
Electric A joined Linnets in the next round after their 3-0 victory over Bisterne Rangers with goals from James Keith, Tony Sadler and Steve Flynn.
Dominic Taylor’s hat-trick proved decisive when New Milton Eagles emerged 5-2 winners against AFC Pennington in the second round of the MA Hart Hayward Cup with the other two goals coming from Jon Spooner.
Richmond reserves produced a superb performance to wallop Queens Park reserves 7-1 in the third round thanks to Gary Cutler’s hat-trick and further goals from Ben Sainsbury (2), Craig Varley and Dan Sumpter.
Alec Payne, Sean Barton and Tom Lawrie gave Bransgore United a 3-0 success against Boldre Royals, while Burley squeezed through 4-3 on penalties after finishing 3-3 after extra-time at Milford thanks to goals from Ben Tucker, Darren Mew and Dan Billing.
• Old Oaks’ Hampshire Interme-diate Cup run came to an end in the second round when Sam Elli-ott’s goal was not enough to save them from going down 2-1 after extra-time against Sholing.
