RYAN Garry has admitted Cherries must improve their defending of set-pieces.
The defensive coach says Lee Bradbury’s men are working hard on the training ground in a bid to avoid a repeat of the mistakes that cost them goals against MK Dons and Charlton Athletic.
Former centre-half Garry told the club website: “We are being punished at the minute for little mistakes.
“In the past three games, we did well, especially in the Charlton game. But we did not take our chances and gave the opposition the chance to score from set-plays.
“In the MK Dons game, we did not mark as we should have done and we got punished – the same against Charlton.
“It is frustrating but all we can do is look to address it and, hopefully, play as well as we have done offensively in the past few games.
“That is just the minor detail which is the difference between winning games and losing games.
“To get done by a set-play two games in a row was not good enough and it cost us six points.”
