DAVID Dunn has reported better news on the injury front in the wake of Lions losing Riad Lynch for the rest of the season.
The prop will play no part during Bournemouth’s run-in after suffering knee ligament damage in last Saturday’s defeat against Redingensians.
But Dunn revealed that a number of other players had made good progress in their fitness bids ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Bridgwater in National Three South West.
Dunn confirmed that both Karim Lynch and Joe Tarrant were set to return for the league leaders after recovering from thigh and back problems respectively.
Despite not being ready to play this weekend, Dunn is hopeful that centre Scott Chislett (knee) could be back in time to face title rivals Chinnor on March 24.
Director of rugby Dunn said: “We have got one chance to get it right before the Chinnor game. The preparation for Chinnor has already started.”
Meanwhile, Joe Burns and Ben Stewart are unavailable against Bridgwater but Dan Connolly returns for the Chapel Gate outfit.
