BRANKSOME United under-14s are in the hunt for a league and cup double following their emphatic 7-3 win over Bournemouth Sports at Chapel Gate.
Dorset Academy stars James Guthrie and Lewis Cook were the title-chasers’ goal heroes, netting three and four respectively.
Cook scored twice in the first four minutes as the visitors stamped their authority on the match.
Leading 4-2 at the interval, Cook and Guthrie went on to complete their hat-tricks in the second period, while Fraser Read (2) and Flynn Begley replied for Bournemouth Sports.
Dorset Cup holders Branksome defend their county trophy against Bridport in the final on April 1 and are eight points behind BYFL Division Five leaders Bournemouth Electric with three games in hand.
