MILES Addison revealed he had earned a cash windfall from boss Lee Bradbury after banking his first goal for Cherries.
The Derby loan man immediately headed to the dugout to celebrate with Bradbury after netting Cherries’ late equaliser against Carlisle.
Addison told BBC Radio Solent: “The manager said whoever scored a goal from a set-piece would get a bonus so I went straight to him to make sure he knew to pay me!
“We did a lot of work in training on set-pieces and it paid off. It was a relief to finally get a point on the board since my move here.
“Everyone was starting to look over their shoulder but, hopefully, this point will help.
“It felt more like a win because we scored late and, the way things have been going, it has not really happened for us. We seem to lack that cutting edge in the box at the moment but everyone in the changing room is really up for it and looking forward to Tuesday.
“There have been a few grumbles from a few supporters but you saw everyone was together.
“We all celebrated together and I think the fans saw that. Hopefully, the ones who have been grumbling will stop.”
