BASHLEY manager Steve Riley has revealed he is due to meet with the club’s hierarchy to devise plans for next season.

Riley is keen to enjoy a strong finish to the Southern Premier campaign – starting with tonight’s home game against Arlesey Town (7.45pm).

But the long-serving Bash boss also has an eye on his squad-building for next term.

He is set to sit down with the New Forest outfit’s executive committee on Thursday to begin looking ahead.

Riley also hinted that he would look to keep the core of his team, having been impressed with their efforts in 2012.

He told the Daily Echo: “We will try to get one or two things shaped up so that the close season is as easy as it can be for the club.

“We have got players tied down for next season, which is great. We want to keep the backbone of the side and then freshen up if anything comes on the horizon.

“The players have been great this season. I have enjoyed working with them and I have seen a lot of improvement since Christmas.”

Riley has named an unchanged squad for Arlesey’s visit to the Recreation Ground.

He added: “Looking at the run-in, we are capable of picking up points if we perform as we have against the teams in the top six or seven.”
