DAVID Dunn admits he has been left with a major selection headache because of the “awesome work” of the club’s medical team.
Led by head physio Andy Curtis, the Chapel Gate backroom staff have managed to provide Dunn with a virtually fully-fit squad for tomorrow’s top-of-the-table showdown with Chinnor (3pm kick-off).
Centre Scott Chislett, who had been a major injury doubt, has been named in the Lions squad, alongside returning front-row forward Joe Tarrant.
Director of rugby Dunn also confirmed that Curtis and his colleagues had worked wonders with Karim Lynch and Chris Hughes in the build-up to the home clash with their title rivals from Oxfordshire.
He told the Daily Echo: “There has been absolutely awesome work carried out by Andy Curtis and the medical team, who have worked tirelessly to get everybody fit.
“Everybody is available and fit and I can’t really believe it.”
Dunn added: “Andy is our head physio – he heads the medical team – and he is a former Bristol player himself. He has been absolutely fantastic and he has turned nasty injuries around in double-quick time.”
Dunn expects Riad Lynch to be Lions’ only injury absentee as the prop’s serious knee problem requires surgery.
