Bashley manager Steve Riley is keen to extend defender Dan Strugnell’s loan spell until the end of the season.
Strugnell has impressed since arriving at Bashley Road and his first month is due to expire following the visit of Barwell tomorrow (3pm).
Riley said: “Dan is doing really well for us and seems to be enjoying himself. We are hoping to keep him for the rest of the season.”
Bash are five points clear of the Premier Division drop zone and will be looking to end a five-match winless run when they host their visitors from Leicestershire.
“I am confident we will get the points required to stay in this division,” added Riley. “A lot of the players have played the majority of the games and we only have a small squad.
“We have got lots of knocks and niggles and our physio John Edwards has done a marvellous job. It is a numbers game and we can’t take any risks.”
Mark Gamble, who missed Bash’s 2-2 draw at Redditch six days ago, could return after recovering from a back injury.
Meanwhile, Wimborne will be looking to maintain their recent revival when they travel to Division One South & West play-off hopefuls North Leigh (3pm).
The Magpies, who are without Paul Roast due to suspension, have extinguished any lingering relegation fears thanks to a hat-trick of victories.
Boss Steve Cuss said: “We have still got some targets we want to achieve.
“We still think we can catch the four teams above us.”
