CURRENT league champions Greenfields were the shoot-out kings in the under-13 cup final at Ferndown.
Greenfields won 3-1 on penalties after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Poole in normal time.
“We found it hard to create many opportunities against a solid Poole defence,” admitted Greenfields manager Adrian Chambers.
Greenfields’ successful penalty takers were Owen Nicholson, Kofi Anjourin and Ben Cull, while keeper Ben Thompson saved two spot-kicks.
Poole, meanwhile, have the chance to win their own silverware when they look to retain the Dorset Cup on Sunday.
