DAN Arnold was the two-goal hero as Highcliffe Hawks wrapped up a league and cup double at King George V Playing Fields in Ferndown.
A bright start saw Arnold give Hawks the lead before Sam Turner levelled the scores for Electric before the interval.
Arnold restored their advantage with his second, while skipper Joe Duffy despatched a penalty to put the Hawks in command.
Hawks new boy Jacob Carter sealed the impressive victory as the team secured their club’s maiden double.
The key to Hawks’ success was manager Ron Bertie’s policy of ‘pass and move’. Bertie and his assistant Tony Smith also rotated the team to keep them fresh in the warm conditions.
