A LIGHTNING strike from Sam Eyre put Poole on their way to cup success at King George V Playing Fields.
Eyre latched on to a Ben Morgan cross to score within 16 seconds of the under-10 final against Bridport Youth.
Later in the half, Poole had to defend in numbers to keep Bridport at bay for the remainder of the opening period.
Sub Ryan Wiles made an immediate impact from the bench to double Poole’s advantage after the interval.
Poole’s third was netted by Louis McWilliams following good work from Morgan and Joshua Robinson.
Finlay Davy scored a well-deserved consolation goal for the West Dorset outfit.
