CHARLIE Bonnington was the Wimborne cup hero after netting the only goal of the game against BYFL outfit Poole Town Youth.
Bonnington converted a one-on-one with the Poole keeper midway through the second half at King George V Playing Fields.
His goal clinched an under-13 Dorset league and cup double for the young Magpies, who also reached the last four of the Hampshire Cup.
However, it was double disappointment for Poole Town Youth who were also runners-up in the BYFL Cup the week before.
Wimborne are hoping to secure another double when their girls under-13s meet Weysports in the county final on April 21.
