DORSET under-15 giants Lytchett Red Triangle and Poole Town Wessex locked horns in the county cup final at King George V Playing Fields on Sunday.
The two sides couldn’t be separated after normal time with Josh Rose’s goal for Lytchett on 60 minutes being cancelled out by George Fellows.
The tie was decided in Lytch-ett’s favour in extra time with a Todd Coombs penalty and a Zac Barnes goal.
“Poole Town raised the bar last year and won the double,” said Lytchett manager Paul Coombs. “I am very proud of the response to that from my squad and they fully deserve their own league and cup success this year.”
