Ringwood racer Rebecca Newham saved the best for last to claim the top girl racer prize at Waterstone Ridge, Dorchester.
Caleb Stone (Christchurch) managed to keep Rebecca at bay in two of the three races of the Ringwood Youth Motocross Club event.
But Rebecca rode well in the final with a fantastic race win and overall second in the Junior 65cc class for eight to 10-year-olds.
‘Mini Moto’ Shea Wylie, meanwhile, once again dominated the Automatic 50cc races.
The Parkstone youngster was the leading rider in his class in round three of the club’s Summer Club Championship Series.
Eight-year-old pocket rocket Shea, who competes on a production KTM 50cc machine, finished first in all three motos, beating 20 other six to nine-year-olds who competed at the same event for their local Ringwood Motocross Club.
Ellis Selby and Mitchell Pocklington, both from Upton, finished the day in overall second and third, respectively.
Sam Lycett won in convincing fashion in the Small Wheel 85s followed by Thomas Shutler (Verwood) and Hugh Mason (Broadstone) who keeps improving his scores each meeting in his first season of racing.
Rebecca Newham’s elder brother Scott, who competes on a Suzuki 85cc, finished overall first in the Big Wheel 85s, while KTM 125cc mounted Mitchell Miller (New Milton), aged 15, proved top local Schoolboy Rookie rider to claim overall third.
Round four of the Ringwood Motocross Club’s (MCF) Championship Series will be held at West Meon, near Petersfield, Hampshire on Sunday April 22.
