BOSS Graham Kemp knows Christchurch are facing a win-or-bust clash against Moneyfields as the race to finish third in Wessex Premier reaches its conclusion.

Fourth-placed Priory, who host Moneys at Hurn Bridge (3pm), are currently two points behind the Portsmouth-based outfit, with Hamble also in the mix.

Kemp said: “We’re two points behind Moneyfields and one in front of Hamble so we probably need to win if we are going to stand a chance of finishing third.

“I think whoever finishes fifth will feel a bit disappointed after our respective seasons. All three of us will look back at our results over the past few weeks and think we could have done better to cement third place already.

“But, from our point of view, we have beaten our record points total so finishing fifth would still be an achievement, even if third would be better.”
