CORFE Mullen’s Sam Barfoot chalked up maximum points at the Poole and Parkstone Club’s Launcherley meeting last month.
Barfoot won a tight tussle with Tyler Groves who was on his tail for most of the day.
But Barfoot managed to keep Groves at bay to win the Big Wheel class.
Roles were reversed, however, at the club’s Easter meeting at Waterstone Ridge, near Dorchester.
Groves secured third place behind winner Scott Newham (Ringwood), while Barfoot had to settle for fifth.
Travis Reynolds was on top of his game to win the junior class ahead of second-placed rider Callum Forte.
In third place was the top girl racer Rebecca Newham, from Ringwood, who produced a string of great results.
Puddletown racer Ben Holland conquered the track to secure first position in the cadets class.
Thomas Coltard, meanwhile, created the space to move up the field and clinch second.
Third and fourth went to the talented Charlie Marshall and the winner’s brother Matthew Holland, respectively.
The club’s third round meeting is at Honiton on Sunday.
